and users of our Canadian Site (“Users”). To that end, we

Please note that Blockbuster Canada has no intention of
collecting personal information from individuals under the age of majority,
which is 18 or 19 depending on your province or territory (“children”).

Canada uses the personal information you provide for the purposes for
which it was provided, for example, to process an order; to record your
rental of a product and its return date; to collect debts and recover
overdue rental products; to notify you that you have won a contest or
sweepstakes; to respond to your inquiries; or to contact you or send you
information about your membership. Blockbuster Canada also uses your personal
information to administer and manage our business, to improve our Site
and to better understand your needs and to improve the products, benefits,

Transfer
of Personal Information to Third Party Goods and Services Providers.
Blockbuster Canada employs third party vendors, service providers, and
suppliers to perform various functions on our behalf, such as fulfilling
orders, processing credit card payments, debt collection, removing repetitive
information from customer lists, analyzing data, and hosting and maintaining
databases. These organizations may have access to personal information
to the extent needed to perform their functions, but they may not use
it for other purposes, such as marketing their products and services to
you or providing your information to third parties. Additionally, as an
indirect subsidiary of Blockbuster Inc., a U.S.-based Delaware corporation
with headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Blockbuster Canada’s retail
stores’ communications network is integrated with Blockbuster Inc.’s
and our Canadian transactional data as well as our Canadian membership
information is collected, maintained, and hosted at Blockbuster Inc.’s
data centre in the United States. Blockbuster Inc., though, does not independently
access or use this data other than to service specific requests made by
Blockbuster Canada.
Disclosures
attendant to a Merger or Acquisition. If Blockbuster Canada or its
assets are acquired by another company, your personal information may
be disclosed to the acquiring company to allow it to fulfil your order
or provide the products, services or information that Blockbuster Canada
would otherwise provide to you and generally to carry on the Blockbuster
Canada business. We may also use and disclose your personal information
to parties connected with the contemplated or actual financing, insuring,
